SUMMARY: Operates, coordinates, and monitors production for assigned lines for all shifts on a specific line or lines. As assigned, trains new employees in electroplating, safety, and environmental work instructions and provides feedback on their performance.

  • Processes parts.
  • Racks, loads, plates and unloads parts according to established work instructions.
  • Inspects parts after they are plated to ensure conformance to customer requirements.
  • Coordinates and monitors production processing.
  • Monitors and controls production process within established ranges.
  • Notifies Area Coordinator as appropriate regarding production processing, including productivity, quality, and scheduling issues.
  • Monitors chemical usage to ensure the chemical addition process is under control.
  • Monitors electrical and physical components of line to ensure efficient processing and notifies appropriate personnel of any problems.
  • Trains and develops operators.
  • Trains new operators on the line work instructions.
  • Trains operators on the safety and environmental procedures pertaining to the line.
  • Provides performance feedback to assist new operators in developing the skills necessary to perform their job.
  • Monitors and directs performance of all operators to continually develop skills and safe work habits.
  • Ensures that line personnel follow safety and environmental procedures.
  • Continuously monitors line for safety and environmental issues and notify appropriate personnel of problems.
  • Continually monitors line for productivity and quality improvements.
  • Operates lines adhering to established quality procedures.
  • Monitors production processes to identify productivity and quality improvements.
  • Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Expected: One years related experience and/or training.

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
  • Interpersonal communication skills necessary.

Other Skills:

  • Corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
