SUMMARY: Provide a service within the organization by coordinating and implementing all on the job Polishing Training and associated requirements.

• Incorporates polishing training and certification documentation into quality documentation system.
• Develops guidelines for on the job training and certification in polishing, communicates guidelines, and monitors progress/performance against those guidelines.
• Train all new polishers and cross train existing polishers.
• Develops and delivers training associated with all new projects.
• Develops process productivity measures, procedures, and methods in cooperation with Process Development.
• Develop process manuals, visual work instructions, job aids, and instructional materials for training and ongoing production.
• Evaluate and certify new and existing people on projects according to productivity, quality, and safety requirements.
• Make suggestions on improving work instructions practices
• Develop and apply assessments, certification, and evaluations/certifications to verify performance.
• Coordinate training schedule and release of new polishers with Polishing Leads.
• Provide initial introductory reviews with new polishers and appropriate shift leads.
• Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties
• Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries’ Beliefs and Drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and/or Experience:

• Expected: 2 years experience in polishing is required.

Communication Skills:

• Must have strong English skills
• Must have strong written communication skills
• Basic presentation skills
• Demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office products

Other Skills:

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
