Part Strip Operator

SUMMARY: The purpose of this job is to strip chemicals and finishes from rejected parts for re-processing.WAGE TYPE: Hourly
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Lead Process Control (chemical adds and Maintenance) for Electro-strip and B-9
- Responsible for loading and unloading Electro-strip and B-9
- Package stripped parts
- Disposition incoming parts
- Design new Electro-strip racks
- Keep strip area clean
- Keep L70 area clean and organized
- Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties.
- Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Expected: High School diploma or GED
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- must be able to understand blueprints and written instructions for fabricating racks.
- Must be able to verbally communicate with customers.
Other Skills:
- Corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Ability to work with limited amount of supervision.
- Possesses interpersonal and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
