SUMMARY: The purpose of this job is to strip chemicals and finishes from rejected parts for re-processing.WAGE TYPE: Hourly

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Lead Process Control (chemical adds and Maintenance) for Electro-strip and B-9
  • Responsible for loading and unloading Electro-strip and B-9
  • Package stripped parts
  • Disposition incoming parts
  • Design new Electro-strip racks
  • Keep strip area clean
  • Keep L70 area clean and organized
  • Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Expected: High School diploma or GED


Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
  • must be able to understand blueprints and written instructions for fabricating racks.
  • Must be able to verbally communicate with customers.

Other Skills:

  • Corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
  • Ability to work with limited amount of supervision.
  • Possesses interpersonal and good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
