SUMMARY: Responsible for managing all Lincoln Industries inventory handling, warehousing, and delivery activities over multiple sites/locations.

- Ensures accurate inventory transactions based on material movement within warehouse management system.
- Supervises Area Leaders responsible for coordinating daily shipping and receiving activities and material handling.
- Chemical warehouse management.
- Establish priorities and resolve problems for all shipping, invoicing, and order processing with Logistics & Area Leaders to optimize warehousing traffic.
- Responsible for company wide performance in shipping/receiving accuracy, completeness of shipments, and condition of shipments in accordance with QS-9000 guidelines.
- Sources material handling equipment, Lincoln Industries fleet, supplies, and warehouse space.
- Train new people in job duties.
- Interacts with internal and external customers to develop short and long term warehousing needs and strategy.
- Selection, development, and coordination of people.
- Establishes effective communication processes and channels.
- Develop and track metrics related to company wide performance in shipping/receiving/warehousing.
- Budget responsibility.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
- Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties.
- Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
Education and/or Experience:
- Expected: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Logistics/Supply Chain Related field; 5 – 7 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in warehouse management systems, bar-coding, order processing, and ERP systems.
Communication Skills:
- Solid written, small, and large group communication skills.
- Customer service and development skills.
Other Skills:
- Corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must be able to lift 55 pound parts or boxes of parts.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
- Must be able to work in a hot humid environment.
