SUMMARY: Responsible for managing all Lincoln Industries inventory handling, warehousing, and delivery activities over multiple sites/locations.

  • Ensures accurate inventory transactions based on material movement within warehouse management system.
  • Supervises Area Leaders responsible for coordinating daily shipping and receiving activities and material handling.
  • Chemical warehouse management.
  • Establish priorities and resolve problems for all shipping, invoicing, and order processing with Logistics & Area Leaders to optimize warehousing traffic.
  • Responsible for company wide performance in shipping/receiving accuracy, completeness of shipments, and condition of shipments in accordance with QS-9000 guidelines.
  • Sources material handling equipment, Lincoln Industries fleet, supplies, and warehouse space.
  • Train new people in job duties.
  • Interacts with internal and external customers to develop short and long term warehousing needs and strategy.
  • Selection, development, and coordination of people.
  • Establishes effective communication processes and channels.
  • Develop and track metrics related to company wide performance in shipping/receiving/warehousing.
  • Budget responsibility.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws
  • Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Expected: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Logistics/Supply Chain Related field; 5 – 7 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience in warehouse management systems, bar-coding, order processing, and ERP systems.

Communication Skills:

  • Solid written, small, and large group communication skills.
  • Customer service and development skills.

Other Skills:

  • Corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
  • Must be able to lift 55 pound parts or boxes of parts.
  • Must be able to climb ladders and stairs.
  • Must be able to work in a hot humid environment.
