SUMMARY: Repairs and maintains electrical and electronic equipment, industrial controls and mechanical equipment in production setting by performing the following duties. Performs new equipment and construction installations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Perform equipment installations. Install PVC pipe, conduit, electrical equipment panels, perform wire pulls and perform various equipment installs.
- Design the scope of work necessary to perform electrical equipment installations. Sizing of amperage, wire, service needs, etc.
- Performs preventative maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of DC power supplies for plating processes.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and calibrate instrumentation for waste treatment facility. Includes ultrasonic level transmitters, pH transmitters, conductivity transmitters, ORP instruments, flow and pressure instruments.
- Maintain, install, set-up and troubleshoot DC and AC variable frequency drives.
- Maintain, install, troubleshoot and make minor program modifications to PLC equipment such as Allen-Bradley SLC-150 and SLC-500.
- Utilize test equipment such as digital miltimeter, multifunction loop calibrator, Fluke 97 scope meter, data logging recorders, and other equipment as deemed necessary.
- Preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair non-current technology logic panels including hard relays, timers, and counters.
- Have basic knowledge of mechanical seals, air compressors, and pneumatic hydraulic knowledge.
- Any other tasks as required to fulfill Lincoln Industries’ Beliefs and Drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Expected: Associates Degree in Electro-Mechanical or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Journeyman electrician
Communication Skills:
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- Must be able to read technical manuals, blueprints and various maintenance and repair documents.
- Must be able to communicate with other people regarding troubleshooting and repairs.
- Must be able to use computer to access data on work orders, inventory, and communicate with email.
Other Skills:
- Corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Must be able to work in hot and humid environment
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to manage frequent interruptions from normal routine.
