SUMMARY: Coaches and manages people directly engaged in production and operating processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Initiate and/or approve material requisitions to meet budgeted production goals.
  • Uses knowledge of operation and line capacity to estimate labor hours needed to complete targeted production schedule.
  • Trains and certifies people and enforces company policies and safety procedures. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and on-boarding people, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Interprets blueprints, specification sheets and job orders and relays this information to people, assigns responsibilities to people as necessary.
  • Leads the implementation and compliance of key company initiatives and programs (BCI, BBS, TS, etc.) for their team.
  • Assists in the creation of line work instructions required to complete customer orders.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality control.
  • Sets and monitors progress against line metrics and daily goals and provides necessary feedback for the people.
  • Maintains time and production documentation.
  • Confers with other coordinators to achieve interdepartmental teamwork.
  • Could potentially handle hazardous waste in containerizing, transporting, testing, or other assigned duties.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for the expected levels of education and experience required.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Expected: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of direct supervision / leadership experience. Demonstrated competence / talent in the following:

Communication Skills:

  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
