SUMMARY: Assists customers, internally and externally, in meeting quality requirements. This involves inspecting parts, investigating corrective action reports, and communicating with internal and external customers. Develop, implement and coordinates product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.

The three main objectives are:

Reduce customer complaints and drive current customer issues to permanent corrective action.

Reduce internal scrap – Be a part of the continuous improvement team to identify, contain, correct, and prevent issues and risks that are present in our processes. Utilize data analysis techniques to aid in issue prioritization and resolution.

Improve process capability through implementation of tools that will enable the operations team to perform their tasks with optimal efficiency and accuracy.

Perform process audits to ensure product quality.

Responsible for Product/Process improvement efforts by understanding current quality metric data and learning the various analysis methods used to enhance current projects and develop new projects.

Work with operational teams to efficiently and effectively use quality systems and quality engineering tools.

Operates testing equipment including, but not limited to permascope, nickel scope, profilometer, and hand gauges.

Any other duties as assigned by direct supervisor.

Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.

Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Expected: Junior or Senior in engineering – focus in Quality
Communication Skills:

Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, quality system standards, and governmental regulations

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Must be able to communicate effectively over the telephone, via e-mail or in person
Physical Requirements:
