SUMMARY: Intern position reporting to plant engineering. This intern will be involved in various plant and equipment project work throughout the facility in support of the plant engineer.


WAGE TYPE: Hourly
FLSA Exemption: Non-Exempt

  • Projects associated with plant, equipment and utilities
  • Build project plans, field measurement, develop CAD drawings
  • Data Collection to help justify improvement projects
  • Work with internal maintenance project team and contractors to coordinate project installations
  • Work with outside equipment providers, developing quotations
  • Develop financial justification on projects
  • Various tasks as assigned by Mechanical Plant Engineer and Facilities & Maintenance Engineer
  • Could potentially come in contact with hazardous chemicals.
  • Any other tasks as required fulfilling Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

  • Reports to: Plant Engineer

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Expected: Junior or Senior in Mechanical Engineering
