SUMMARY: Fabricates, modifies, and repairs electroplating racking and tooling. Build parts for special projects and parts supporting the maintenance team.

- Performs preventative maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electroplating racking and tooling.
- Set up, configure, and operate shop tooling.
- Weld a wide variety of metals as well as plastics.
- Take direction from all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate jobs with line leaders and area coordinators.
- Order and inventory standard rack materials and special order items.
- Engineer, fabricate, and implement new ideas and racks for new customers.
- Reengineer rack tooling to facilitate Continuous Improvement.
- Any other tasks as required to fulfill Lincoln Industries' Beliefs and Drivers.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:- Expected:
- Background in maintenance or machine tool technology.
- Mechanical aptitude and good visualization skills.
- Education and/or experience using a lathe, mill, and drill press.
- Education and/or experience with TIG, MIG, & SMAC welding.
Communication Skills: - Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- Must be able to read technical manuals, blueprints and various maintenance and repair documents.
- Must be able to communicate with other people regarding troubleshooting and repairs.
- Must be able to use computer to access data on work orders, inventory, and communicate with email.
Other Skills: - Corrected vision and dexterous use of both hands.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.
- Must be able to work in hot and humid environment
- Must be able to climb ladders.
- Must be able to manage frequent interruptions from normal routine.
