Positioning for Growth

“We are focused on growth,” says Lincoln Industries President Hank Orme. “This isn’t something heard in the news today. However, we are currently integrating business in two new market segments and are in a financial position where we can focus our efforts on tomorrow’s opportunities.”

New Website Answers Questions
Lincoln Industries has launched a new website dedicated to giving customers more information on how it provides innovative solutions to challenges such as wear, corrosion, high temperature, friction and aesthetics.

“The new website is a great introduction to our company. It describes what type of problems we solve and why a company would choose to work with us,” says Vice President of Business Development Matt Nyberg. “As we continue to serve a national customer base, we have new prospects for business asking, ‘Why Lincoln Industries?’ Our website will help answer that question.

“At its core, Lincoln Industries is a metal finishing company. We have used this expertise to become the leading supplier of products requiring a high-performance metal finishing,” said Nyberg. “Our customers have come to rely on us for solving many of their metal finishing challenges. The website explains our Integrated Finishing Services™ process and gives examples of how our unique business model creates value for our customers.”

Expanded Water Treatment Facilities
Knowing that responsible companies are ahead of regulations, Lincoln Industries has moved forward with another significant improvement in its management of environmental processes. In March, the company will complete a $1.2 million project designed to significantly increase the company’s waste treatment capacity.

“When we began planning this project two years ago, we wanted to make sure we were in a position to handle the growth of our company for the next ten years,” said Director of Environmental Programs Rick Dickey. “In addition, we wanted to ensure the safety of our people and our community by addressing any environmental risks with our existing collection pits. As a result, we have installed new tanks, almost doubling our capacity.

“We have a long legacy of proactively meeting our environmental responsibilities,” said Dickey. “Since the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts were passed in the early 1970s, Lincoln Industries has spent millions developing and implementing the strongest environmental management systems in our industry. We always want to be in a position where our customers can rely on us and not have to worry about any environmental issues that may affect the delivery of their products.”

“Environmental excellence has contributed to our success in many ways,” said Dickey. “Initially, when many other companies discontinued their own in-house finishing operations and moved that work to us, it was a source of new business. Today, our environmental performance continues to be a major reason companies choose us as a business partner.“
