People Spotlight - Shannon Eggert

Growing up in Beatrice, Nebraska, Shannon Eggert learned the value of hard work to keep his hands busy and the importance of creativity to keep his mind sharp. He honed those skills while living on the family farm, and they would later serve him very well. As a Technology Development Manager at Lincoln Industries, Shannon puts both hard work and creativity to good use on a daily basis.
Shannon's educational background includes Southeast Community College, Peru State College and the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where he earned his MBA in December 2009. His professional career includes experience at a communications company as a design engineer and working as an engineering manager at an automotive supplier. Looking for greater opportunities and a place where his creativity could flourish, Shannon joined Lincoln Industries in 2006. He is currently a Technology Development Manager after experience in a variety of other roles. His position allows his creativity and entrepreneurial spirit to thrive while maintaining his assertive, detail-oriented demeanor.
Working with the business development department, Shannon provides solutions to help meet customer needs, particularly with new product and process development. He also helps prepare projects for the integration department to ensure a smooth transition into production. Like most who work at the company, however, Shannon is willing to do whatever is necessary to support Lincoln Industries’ customers.
When he’s not looking for innovative ways to help customers, Shannon enjoys spending time with his wife and children, camping, boating and riding his motorcycle.
