People Spotlight - Todd Lewis

Todd Lewis has played an important role in the success of Lincoln Industries for more than ten years. During that time Todd has been the Process Manager and Quality Manager. In those two roles he has become one of the nations leading experts on metal finishing. He applies this knowledge in his current role as Technology Development Manager to identify, develop, and implement new finishing materials and/or technologies for commercial application in new and existing customer segments.
Matt Nyberg, Vice President of Business Development said “Todd is a go-to guy. He has so much knowledge and experience using different finishes and materials that he is used as a key reference for many different projects.” His knowledge is valued outside of Lincoln Industries as well. He has served on the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) committee for plating standards for the last 3 years. This group develops and revises plating standards for our industry.
Todd graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a chemical engineering degree. Shortly after graduation he co-owned a small business building circuit boards and retro fitting used plating equipment. Todd said “running a small business gave me valuable knowledge not only about plating, but also being fast, flexible and creative in solving problems.” Everyday Todd uses those experiences to provide new technologies for customers of Lincoln Industries.
