Integrated Finishing Services™ has been a part of Lincoln Industries for over 20 years. The process behind IFS is to breakdown several areas and look at them from a new perspective. These areas include metal selection, production process, surface preparation, coating materials and the application process.
The Integrated Finishing Services process has been successful because we have the experience and talent to answer the tough questions. There are over 30 degreed engineers who work with our suppliers and customers in design support, product specifications, manufacturing excellence and lean technology. We have more than 20 certified electroplate finishers who have technical experience in part design, part preparation and electroplating.
Traditionally, a metal finishing company would be viewed as a tier two supplier to an OEM. Our experience has shown this model isn’t efficient when the finish is critical to the performance of the product. Too often the fabricator and the finisher are pointing fingers at each other only resulting in poor quality products, extensive rework and wasted time by everyone involved. Integrated Finishing Services puts the focus on Lincoln Industries to manage the entire supply chain. We work with key suppliers who understand the tough specifications our customers require. Our customers only need to communicate with us, the lead supplier, and not have the hassle of managing multiple suppliers for one finished product.
